All Baseball Comics Opens Presale for Chicago Cubs Issue
We’ll have more to come on this awesome new project soon, but I wanted to quickly share some information about a new Cubs comic book that is now available for pre-order. Check out the details below and visit the link to reserve your copy.
All Baseball Comics, the official comic book partner of Major League Baseball, has opened presales today for its Chicago Cubs issue, one of three flagship titles from Zero Zero Entertainment
The Cubs issue is available now for pre-order at baseballcomics.com, as well as issues featuring the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The comic is officially licensed by Major League Baseball and tells the story of not just the franchise, but a fanbase that redefined what it means to believe. Key story arcs include the team’s early success, the 1945 Curse of the Billy Goat and the 2016 World Series championship that ended a 108-year drought.
The issue is built as a collectible, not a piece of merchandise. It is officially licensed, runs 32 pages and is printed in a limited run, available in a standard edition or a signed variant cover. For anyone who collects cards, the distinction is a familiar one. There’s a difference between something simply printed and something worth holding onto.
Created by Josh Frankel, CEO of Zero Zero Entertainment and a lifelong baseball fan, the Cubs issue is one of three flagship titles launching this fall alongside the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. Frankel’s past comic book collaborations include the Grateful Dead, Elvis Presley Enterprises and Machine Gun Kelly.
“Baseball has been the one sport I’ve loved since I was a kid, everything from the long history of the teams to the rhythm of the game, those quiet lulls broken up by the excitement of a home run. It’s an honor to combine that with one of my other loves, comic books. I can’t wait for fans to see the history of their teams drawn in spectacular detail, and maybe we’ll convert a few comic readers into fans of the best sport there is.”
— Josh Frankel, CEO, Zero Zero Entertainment
The Cubs issue lands as the franchise continues to push for its next World Series title, giving Chicago outlets a natural hook connecting the team’s past to its current chapter.
